Plastic regrind is the output from the plastic granulation process. After plastic parts have been fed through a granulator, chopped up and passed through a grading screen you end up with a granulate called regrind.
This process entails feeding Plastic scrap into the granulator. The rotating blades of the granulator size reduces the material by chopping the scrap down until the regrind is small enough to fall through the grading screen. At which point, they are conveyed away through pipework to a packing station.
